I operate from a small workshop in Christchurch on the Dorset / Hampshire border, where I tackle most aspects of guitar and related instrument repair and restoration, from set-ups, re-frets to broken headstocks etc. I have repaired or worked on over 6000 instruments ranging from guitars, banjos, mandolins, lutes etc, to exotic instruments such as sitars, ouds, dilruba and many other strange oddities that have come through my door. I do build the occasional instrument (see galleries) but not to order: there are generally some of my own instruments or something under construction around the place, which may include a few hybrids. I offer a friendly personal service, and take as much care over your instrument as I would my own.
